Description
Comments that he has not visited from London and reminds him of Buxton's existence. Describes an October visit to Dovedale with friends. Comments on Buxton election results; re-opening of the Spa as a hotel; size of post-war audience for the Gardens entertainments and closure and future re-opening of the repertory theatre. Lists three paintings at the Museum given by Mr Turner. Gives news of Ernest's moderate health; she is busy with musical events. Sandy is well: hopes Thomas is well.
