Description
Asks for a decision about indexing a file of letters. Reports unable to see Fred Hampson who is convalescent but has seen his brother Frank, who agreed to help (in relation to probate). Has had a friendly letter from step son. Has replied but does not want to see him again. Has decorated after completion of plumbing and gas fitting. Describes smoke problem with kitchenette chimney involving a fire brigade visit. Neville Harburn has not asked for her help yet and employment prospects in Buxton appear hopeless. Lists other employers to be approached, but needs to restrict herself to part-time work while getting her room-letting running smoothly.
