Expresses thanks for summary of the will and discusses interpretations of the will. Describes time consuming task of trying to make progress with Ernest's manuscript. Reflects on the death of Mrs Harrison and encloses related newspaper cuttings. Asks about specific words in Basic, referring to "Keave" Mentions Ogden's "Basic English versus Artificial Languages" and "Word Economy" by Miss Lockhart. Was to have gone to Bakewell today but went to Mrs Harrison's memorial service. Mentions Ogden's visit to Hove.
