Title
Articles of agreement between George Adamson the elder of Ashbourne, blacksmith, and Leake Okeover, by which, in consideration of £80, Adamson agrees to convey to Okeover before 25 Dec 1738, a parcel of ground, land, meadow or pasture in the north west corner of Mapleton Ryefield, by estimation 2 acres, lately enclosed, purchased by Adamson from John Maddock of Ashbourne, baker and the other part of the parcel adjoining to the lane from Ashbourne to Mapleton, purchased from Richard Godwin and lately received inexchange from Richard Goodwin and lately received inexchange by Goodwin from Rev John Boydell, Rector of Mapleton.
