Administrative HistoryChrist Church, Stonegravels was built as a chapel of ease in Holy Trinity, Chesterfield in 1869. It became a separate parish in 1914, comprising part of Holy Trinity and the southern part of the parish of Newbold. The register of baptisms (1876-1886) is held at DRO ref D935 A/ PI 5/1, whilst burials (1871-1882) were entered in the Holy Trinity registers (DRO ref D935 A /PI 4/2).
Custodial HistoryThese records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in June 1979 and June 1999. This list was added to the online catalogue as part of the FindersKeepers project, with the help of Elissa Rowe.
