Administrative History	Ockbrook was originally a chapelry of Elvaston. It probably became a separate parish soon after the dissolution of the monasteries although the earliest mention of an incumbent is 1620. The chapel of ease at Borrowash, dedicated to St Stephen, opened in 1890. (see D2489)
Custodial History	The records were deposited in 1978, 2001 and June 2005. This list was added to the online catalogue as part of the FindersKeepers project, with the help of Elissa Rowe.
