Consultant opionion September 1949: 'I considered this to be a case of chronic osteomyelitis […] I do not think this was ever a case of Beat Knee'. This opinion was used in Medical Board's decision that 'No loss of faculty had resulted from Prescribed Industrial Disease [...] Beat Knee', against which this Appeal was made.
