DescriptionCorrespondence concerning a visit to Vietnam in August 1967 by a delegation from the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM), which included representatives from the NUM Derbyshire Area.

The file includes a typescript copy of an article entitled 'In Vietnam I Saw Evidence of a People's War', written by Peter Heathfield and published in the Morning Star on 4 October 1967, a typescript account of the delegation's meetings with Vietnamese miners' leaders published in the Derbyshire Miner newspaper in October 1967, and a report by J Carrington on the NUM delegation's visit to North Vietnam. The file also includes reports, notebooks, newspaper extracts, booklets relating to alleged crimes by the United States of America in Vietnam, photographs taken during the visit, and colour maps showing:
