Lists of, and notes on, educational commitments undertaken by the National Union of Mineworkers' Derbyshire Area. Includes Ruskin College's annual report for the year ended July 1965; two copies of an undated leaflet published by the National Coal Board entitled 'Special awards to Graduates in Engineering or Science for Degree Courses in Mining Engneering'; two copies of a booklet published by the National Coal Board entitled 'Science Scholarships and General Scholarships: Conditions of Award 1966'; a pamphlet published by the National Institute of Adult Education entitled 'Adult Education and the Industrial Community' (1965); an advertisement for a day release course provided by the University of Nottingham Department of Adult Education and the Workers' Educational Association in 1965-1966; and The Industrial Tutor: Journal of the Society of Industrial Tutors, volume 1, number 2 (March 1970).
