Two Field Service cards from Arthur to his parents and to [his sisters] Aggie, Lil, Gladys and Mabs, from training in Berkhamsted and then on active service with the British Expeditionary Force in France and Belgium, during 1917; copy letter from the sister-in-charge of a military hospital giving details of Sergeant Hodgkiss's death, 8 Oct 1917; letter from Father to Mab, informing her of Arthur's death, 13 Oct 1917;
