Title
Agreement (and copy) between Nathaniel Hallowes of Derby and Sir Andrew Kniveton of Bradley.
Recites that Sir Andrew having sold the manor of Mugginton to Hallowes, various persons have claimed large sums against Sir Andrew, including Nathaniel Hallowes who has obtained a judgment for £6,000 and costs.
Hallowes agrees that if the manor is protected against claims and if Sir Andrew pays all costs etc of the lawsuit within a year, no further claim will be made against him, otherwise his manors of Bradley, Kniveton and Underwood will be charged with the judgment, 23 Oct
