Mortgage by lease and release with counterpart of release, from Brabazon Hallowes of Glapwell esq to Alexander Barker of Edensor gent of the manor of Mugginton and specified messuages and lands, giving tenants and rents, in all 480 acres, in Mugginton, Brailsford and Hulland Ward and half the impropriate rectory of Mugginton to secure £4,000 and interest at 3½ in lieu of 4% (details given) 3 and 4 Jul 1752

D187/23/12-13 are endorsed with lease and release of the premises by Emanuel Barker of Bakewell esq nephew and heir at law of Alexander Barker, John Barker of Edensor esq executor of Alexander Barker and the executors of Katherine Duchess of Devonshire to Brabazon Hallowes on repayment of £6,000, 30 and 31 May 1792
