Parish of Buxton St Anne's Church (Chapel of Ease)
Administrative History
This was the old parochial chapel of Buxton formerly dedicated to St John the Evangelist. It was disused in 1812 when it was replaced by St John the Baptist. In 1895 it was re-consecrated as a chapel of ease to St John the Baptist.
Custodial History
The records were deposited in 1977 and August 1996. Additional accession July 2015 (see D1753/UL). List put online through FindersKeepers project with the help of Elissa Rowe
