Related Material
This item appears to correspond to a large bundle of papers relating to a dispute between William and Samuel Ward and the Strutts concerning weirs, flood-gates and embankments on and near the Derwent. It is particularly referenced in D3772/T19/10/7 Brief for Defendants, 23 Mar 1808, which gives a detailed account of the weirs on the river, referring to the same shading as on this plan.
