Administrative History
According to the minutes and newsletters of the Local History Section an Oral History Project was started 1971-1972. The member who was running the project resigned from the Society in 1981. By 1984, the project was still looking for volunteers to continue the work, and it probable that it was wound up around this time.

These records were deposited with Derbyshire Record Office by the Local History Section of the Derbyshire Archaeological Society in June 1974. Further deposits were received in July 1976, October 1976 (accessioned March 1977) and June 1977.
