Administrative HistoryAccording to the minutes and newsletters of the Local History Section an Oral History Project was started 1971-1972. The member who was running the project resigned from the Society in 1981. By 1984, the project was still looking for volunteers to continue the work, and it probable that it was wound up around this time.
Custodial HistoryThese records were deposited with Derbyshire Record Office by the Local History Section of the Archaeological Society in June 1974. A further deposit was received in October 1976 (accessioned March 1977), and another in June 1977.
