(LM/D/6A) This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows: Plan of Ladywash Cross Cut north by G. Hayward, Senr. [1726-7]. Surveyor: George Hayward. Scale: of 10 meers[1:2000]. Size: 23 x 33 cm. Materials: ink on paper. Centred on: SK219775 Notes: mining sketch of Ladywash Vein showing 'discoveries [of ore] made in cross cut', accompanied by a letter of explanation. Location:DRO, D1154 G/LP 25
