This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
[Hubbadale Mine]. Drawn by George Hayward 8 June 1768. Surveyor: George Hayward. Scale: of ten yards in one inch [1:360]. Size: 37 x 48 cm. Materials: ink on paper. Centred on: SK142695 Notes: compass indicator, top of sheet west. Simple mining plan with explanation. Location: DRO, D1154 G/LP20
