The description reads as follows: A Survey of Lands at Lea belonginge to Mrs Hodgkinson Surveighed by John Halton. 12 Aprill 1698. Surveyor: John Halton. Scale: no scale [1:3750]. Size: 15 x 21 cm. Materials: ink on parchment,. Centred on: SK327573 Notes: cardinal points at edges, top of sheet east. Simple sketch showing lands in ownership only, 20 acres, scattered closes, lands in open fields: named fields with area, adjoining owners: buildings, street with dotted lines, gate: margin design suggesting plaited straw: endorsed 'A Survegh of Le[a] Town Head Farm.
