Description
consists of:- Notice of application and petitions for licence, Thomas Williamson of Fernilee millwright, manufacturer of gunpowder, to erect gunpowder mills on lands (Geldee Warth, Mill Warth and the Warth on the other side the Water) at Shallcross he has contracted to lease from Francis Jodrell esq. Cites that it would be beneficial for coal and other mines as carriage of gunpowder is expensive, 1800. Granted 1801
