A geological map showing the region between Buxton (Derbyshire) and Bolsover (Derbyshire). Including: Chesterfield, Bakewell, Matlock and Winster.
The area is dominated by the Carboniferous limestone, Millstone Grit and the Coal Measures. The Permian Magnesian Limestone (in Bolsover) and the Yoredale Sandstone (East of the Carboniferous limestone) outcrop here.
