A geological map centred around Sheffield (Yorkshire). Including: Rotherham, Barlborough, Ecclesfield and Dronfield.
The area is predominantly composed of the Middle Coal Measures (Carboniferous) and the Lower Coal Measures (Carboniferous) including individual coal Seams. Includes; the Permian Magnesian Limestone in Barlborough; Superficial deposits of alluvium around the River Rother and River Don.
