Description
Indenture between (1) Sir John Zouch of Codnor Castle, knight, and his son and heir apparent John Zouch, esquire, (2) Sir Thomas Hutchenson of Owthorpe, Nottinghamshire, knight, John Bullock of Darley, esquire, Gilbert Ward of Ticknall, gentleman, Edmund Hutchenson of Owthorpe, gentleman, and Robert Butler of Southwell, Nottinghamshire, gentleman, and (3) Reverend Richard Neile, Archbishop of York and his son and heir apparent Sir Paul Neile, knight.
In consideration of £4340 to Sir John Zouch and his son, £1500 to Sir Thomas Hutchenson and 10 shillings to Bullock, Ward, Edmund Hutchenson and Butler.
Dated 1 May 10 Charles: by modern reckoning the year is 1634.
