Indenture by bargain and sale between (1) William Horne of Butterley, parish of Pentrich, gentleman, and (2) Roger Taylor of Ripley, parish of Pentrich, gentleman.
Messuage in the liberty of Hartshay in the parish of Pentrich, in the occupation of Thomas Hough, with premises and lands (17 acres), except for old mines and quarries.
In consideration of £50, for a term of 99 years to secure the £50 and interest.
Parchment, no seal, one tag, with signature of William Horne.
