Description
Indenture between (1) John Piggin of Codnor, parish of Heanor, yeoman, and (2) Francis Tantum of Loscoe, yeoman.
Two closes of land caled "Piggins baulbe" and Red Meadow, two other closes called "Damstids" or Dam Closes (in the tenure of Francis Tantum), and 3 acres of meadow in Loscoe Meadow (in the tenure of John Piggin), all in Loscoe.
In consideration of £50, to be held for a term of 7 years.
Dated 25 March 17 Charles II: by modern reckoning the year is 1665.
