| Administrative History | The Coal Products Divison was created in 1963 to operate the NCB's coking, manufactured fuel, by-product and chemical works, as well . In 1973 the division was formed into NCB (Coal Products) Limited. Together with its coal products activities, NCB (Coal Products) Limited also acted as a holding company for subsidary comapnies, such as Thomas Ness Limited, National Smokeless Fuels Limited, NCB (Hydrocarbons) Limited and NCB (Exploration) Limited. |
