Bonds Yard Open Cast Site records

Description
The open cast site of Bonds Yard was located on the site of the old Bonds Main Colliery at temple Normanton, which had closed in 1949. The contract to work the coal was given in July 1965, and it recovered 82422 tons of good quality coal before the land was restored, which was completed in December 1967.
