Broken down by costs of coal getting in different sections of workforce (getting, heading, haulage and horsekeepers, ripping and shiftwork, deputies, pumps, special underground work, banking and screens, coal washer, loco men and shunters, winders, stokers and power house, electricians, fitters and shopmen, labourers, clerks, storekeepers and timekeepers, special work), other costs (farm, coal carting, pensions, insurance, compensation, indemnity cases, club, cottages, other debits - coal allowance, stamps, general expenses) and different types of materials consumed, etc (wood props and pitwood, steel props, steel bars and girders, explosives, conveyor stores, ropes, rails and sleepers, pit tubs, oils and grease, horsekeep, electrical stores - underground and surface, general stores - underground and surface, general timber surface, petrol, special issues and repairs - cottages, lorries, etc), with columns for Kilburn, Soft Coal, Low Main, general, total and average cost.
The pro-forma pages are only used until Aug 1947. After then information is only recorded for the heading section, with names of new starters and leavers and summary figures of indeterminate nature on the pages opposite the pro-forma pages.
