A Grade I listed medieval manor house on the River Wye near Bakewell, in the White Peak area of the Peak District National Park. Dating from the eleventh century onwards, it is one of England's finest surviving medieval houses and is noted for its medieval and Tudor architecture, historic interiors and gardens. The hall has been home to the Manners family since the sixteenth century
