NotesA former cotton mill on the River Wye at Cressbrook, in the Peak District National Park. The present main mill was built between 1814 and 1816, replacing earlier mills on the site associated with Richard Arkwright and the development of water-powered cotton spinning. The Grade II star listed mill has since been converted to residential use.
