Administrative History
The donor was bequeathed these papers by her relative whose grandfather was a cabinet maker and marble cutter in the late 1800s. He was killed at Rhenoster in the Boer War in 1900. Her father was an antique dealer in Buxton and her maternal grandfather was an auctioneer.
Custodial History
These records were donated to Derbyshire Record Office by member of the public in January 2016.
