Abstract	"The parish registers of Marston On Dove record the omission to make entries of baptisms, marriages and deaths since 2 March 1800 until 1809. The registers were reconstructed in 1809 but family history research into the Hollis family has shown that at least some of the reconstructed entries in the baptisms register are wrong. This memorandum written originally in 2011 explains why they are wrong and what most likely correct entries should have been. The current incumbent (2018) has seen the evidence and is sufficiently confident about it that he is prepared to annotate the register to that effect" - Sheila Kirby (author).
