| History | The Peak Methodist Circuit was first established in 1944, following the amalgamation of the North Derbyshire Mission (ex-Wesleyan) Circuit and Bakewell (ex-Primitive) Circuit. In 1948 it was merged with the Bradwell (ex-Primitive) circuit to become known as the Peak and Bradwell Methodist Circuit. It reverted in 1958 to the present name of Peak Methodist Circuit.
