History
The school was established in a mansion house in the parish of Marston Montgomery, very close to the Staffordshire border and one mile south east of Rocester, in an estate of 140 acres on the banks of the River Dove. The School was founded in 1889 by Scottish academic Dr Cecil Reddie, to provide a modern, progressive education for boys aged 10-19. Co-educational since 1969, the school describes itself as Christian but non-denominational and places emphasis on providing experience beyond the classroom, with special emphasis on music and the arts.
