History
Hathersage Primitive Methodist Church was erected in 1895, being part of the Bradwell Circuit. At the time of the unification of the Wesleyan, Primitive and United Reformed churches, in 1932, the Primitive Methodists closed their church and they seem to have been absorbed into the congregation of the old Wesleyan church until 1939 when a new Methodist Church was built.
