| Administrative History | Until December 1946, these minutes refer to Alfreton Council schools and almost certainly began in 1903 when the former Board schools were taken over by the county council. Between December 1946 and February 1948, the title changed to the Alfreton Primary and Secondary Modern School Managers Meetings. After that date, two separate groups of managers were created. After 1948, there were standing committees, reporting to the governors, for the following schools
- Swanwick Hall Grammar School
- Somercotes Secondary School
- Alfreton Secondary School |
