Administrative History
Derbyshire Lives through the First World War was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Derbyshire County Council. The project aimed to help Derbyshire communities to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War in 2014 and to recognise the ongoing contribution of Derbyshire people throughout the War.
Through Derbyshire communities and their events this website wanted to record the lives of Derbyshire people during the First World War, those who were directly involved in the conflict and those whose lives were affected at home.
