Administrative HistoryAs County Archivist, Joan Sinar was one of the founding members of the Federation and acted in the capacity of Honorary Secretary from its establishment in 1970. The Derbyshire Rural Community Council and Mr MAB Mallender (as Honorary Secretary of the Derbyshire Archaeological Society) were also involved in the establishment of the Federation.
