John Bradburne of Hogh* esquire gives, concedes and by this charter confirms to Henry Prince clerk and John Mason clerk my manor of Hogh with its appurtenances and all other lands, tenements, rents and my meadows, grazing lands and pastures, and my mill of Wirkesworth with its sac and sock, with all and singular its appurtenances in the towns of Hogh, Asshburne, Ofcote Underwood, Clifton, Knyveton, Holand, Stretton, Wyaston, Holynton, Yeveley, Braylesford, Langley, Overburghes and Netherburghes, Parva Ireton, Leghfeldes, Tadyngton and Preseclyfe to have and to hold the said manor and its appurtenances [etc as above] in the said towns [as above] and the said mill to the said Henry and John Mason their heirs and assigns in capital fee...And I the said John Bradburne and my heirs give warranty of the said lands to the said Henry and John Mason their heirs and assigns against all manner of people. In witness of which I have set my seal to this present writing, in witness of which swear John Colayn, John Vernon, Henry Knyveton, Robert Knyveton esquires and Robert Hill and many others. Given at Hogh aforesaid 8.December 36th year of Henry VI
