This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
A true Map of the Inclosure belonging to the Estate of Willm. Hunter [of?] Kilborn 1735 by Robt. Blantun. Surveyor:Robert Blunton. Scale: no scale on extant portion [1:800]. Size: 69 x 82 cm., irregular. Materials: coloured ink on parchment. Centred on: SK377458 Notes: west at top of sheet. Estate plan showing about 200 acres with field names and areas: enclosure round the Hall is named 'Mr. Hunter's Croft ...', elsewhere are 'John Shaw's croft' and 'Thos. Heighton's croft': named paths (yellow), roads (yellow boundaries) and street showing irregular widths: close boundaries coloured grey and walls, gates, hedges, etc. shown in elevation as stone wall, 3 bar gate, ornamental iron fence, etc.: Hall drawn in skeleton plan: mill and goit noted on stream south-west of Hall: part of the sheet is lost, approximately south-east quarter.
