D97/6/1 Copy will of William Morley of Derby, 13 Aug 1773, giving a close called the Nether New Close adjoining the Old Fields in Hognaston to the younger children of Robert Allsopp of Atlow, n.d. [watermarked 1811]
D97/6/2 Award of an exchange between Philip Gell esq and Richard Thompson, 7 Apr 1812
D97/6/3-4 Extracts of probate and administration of the goods of George and John Morley, 24 Jun 1812
D97/6/5-7 Deed of exchange and bond between Philip Gell and Richard Thompson, 5-6 Apr 1813:
Gell gives closes called the Paddock, the Broad Meadow, the Park Side, the Hough, the Calf Croft, the Little Riddings, the Well Pingle, the Holy Well Flatt, the Bigg Wynn, the two Lesser Wynns and the Dimple Close in Hognaston;
Thompson gives an allotment from Hognaston Old Field, a close west of the barn, the Barn Close, the Over Close below the lane and the South Nether Close in Hognaston, and lands in Carsington
