Administrative History
The parish of St Andrew, Litchurch was part of St Peter's Derby until 1867 when it was created a separate ecclesiastical parish. The process of fund-raising for the church (built by Sir George Gilbert Scott) began in 1861. Registers ceased to be used following the creation of the united benefice of St Andrew and St Osmund with St Osmund as the parish church. The church was demolished in 1971.
