Title	Letter from John Adderley to Richard Bate at Mr Woolly's, Marston upon Dove
Date	1 Feb 1679/1680
Description	Has learnt that Col Serle is not releasing any further moneys on Mr Bate's behalf, "because it was not a positive order", leaving Adderley unable to pay the bill of Mr Lowe which, including payments to other creditors, totals £900. A further £1300 remains to be paid to Mr Lowe, which can remain with Mr Bate until Mr Pole's business is at issue. Requests "absolute order" to Col Serle to pay.
