Title	Letter to E Newburgh, Duchy House to unnamed recipient, probably Henry Agard

Description	Has seen his letter to Mr Fanshaw, Auditor, dated 12 Mar, in which [Agard] states that his commission for the sale of wood and trees within the king's parks at Tutbury and the forest of Needwood allows him insufficient latitude for ordering sales to the king's best advantage. Newburgh advises him to examine the terms of his commission, which allow him to take any timber trees so decaying that they impair by standing. Discusses the possibility of permission to make charcoal and dig sawpits. Suggests charcoal be made at Highlings Park, because the fence is so strong that there is no danger of disturbance to the deer.
