DescriptionSends Thomas [?Grigor] to him to manage husbandry. Has known him for ten years and assures Agard of his knowledge and experience, and his honesty. His wage should be £3 annually. Knows of four of five two-year old heifers of a good breed which he supposes will take the bull this year and produce calves in spring; asks whether he should buy them for him. Discusses lands purchased on his behalf from Sir William Gresley for £150, emphasising their profitability.
