Engraved by T.H. Maguire, lithograph printers M. & N. Hanhart, endorsed with signature of John Franklin in bottom right hand corner, size 28 x 37 cm.
It is undated, but it is likely to have been originally painted after Franklin received the Guelphic Order in Jan 1836 and before he set sail for Tasmania in August 1836
