Date
14 Jun 1889
Description
Pages 371-374; the article is on pages 372-373, referring to the "revelation" in a little book recently published by Rev. J. Henry Skewes concerning the spirit of a dead four-year old child Louise Coppin (known as Weesy) revealing the position of the missing Arctic expedition in 1849, consisting of copies of two letters by W. Parker Snow denying that the "revelation" influenced the conduct of the search expedition in which he served as second in command of the Prince Albert in 1850 nor the successful voyage of Captain McClintock in 1857-1859 but asserting that Lady Franklin had known of the "revelation" and told him about it the night before the Prince Albert set sail.
