Written by Lieutenant Commander D.W. Waters, National Maritime Museum to West View Cottage, Laton Jank [Eaton], Duffield, thanking him for his letter of 31 July; their expert is away for a month, but he has been in contact with the people interested in finding Franklin's ships, and he probably knows about the aerial photographs; he will be given the letter as soon as he returns and will answer the questions raised by R.W. Jones
