Description	He claims Lady Franklin was mistaken in having bought the portrait out of her own money, as it was paid for by Sir John himself, put in Joseph Kaye's house for safe custody, removed to John Griffin's house, and then removed to Lady Franklin with other effects of Sir John in 1853. He asks for a statement from her on the facts connected with Lady Franklin's purchase.
