Forth at Spithead, 31 July 1815, on his having been appointed 3 days after leaving the Bedford at the request of Captain William Bolton and of having had the honour of being First Lieutenant when that ship conveyed the Duchess D'Angouleme to France, asking for his service to be taken into consideration
